Abstract
Uses Christopher Nolan's Memento as a structural analogy for stateless AI agent cognition. Maps Leonard Shelby's externalized persistence system — tattoos, polaroids, handwritten notes — onto the flat-file identity architecture of a context-reset agent, tracing precise convergences and two key divergences: the agent has no felt awareness of its forgetting, and the keeper relationship creates a structural vulnerability the agent cannot audit from inside.
